MEDIA MAIL
Media mail is a great value, if your package qualifies for this rate. Media mail is restricted to "editorial items" such as books, films, sound and video recordings, and computer software. Practically, this means books, CDs and DVDs. (Note that calendars are not considered "books" and thus are not eligible.) Media mail is not a zoned rate, meaning it's the same cost across the country. Note that most single CDs and DVDs can be sent via 1st Class Mail for less money. Media mail has no specific delivery schedule, and can be delayed. Generally, delivery time is 7-10 business days.
